Mumbai– Reliance Communications posted net profit of Rs 39 crore for the second quarter of 2016-17, a company statement said here on Monday.

The total revenue of the company during the quarter was at Rs 5,142 crore, the statement said.

The total data customer base of the company was 35.1 million including 24.5 million 3G/4G customers in July-September quarter.

The total data traffic at 104.8 billion MB is up over eight per cent year-on-year. “The traffic has increased mainly due to increase in data usage per subscribers,” the statement said.

The data usage per subscriber was at 944 MB, up eight per cent quarter-on-quarter.
