Kinvey is a backend-as-a-service company that makes it easy for businesses to setup and operate cloud backends for mobile, tablet and Web apps. The company was founded by CEO Sravish Sridhar in 2010 and has raised over $7 million in funding.

5/9/2013  History was made in late April as Representative Judy Chu (D-CA) and Representative David Valadao (R-CA) announced the launch of the first-ever American Sikh Congressional Caucus. Representatives Chu and Valadao are the co-chairs of the caucus. As of yesterday's launch, 30 bipartisan members of the U.S. House of Representatives have already joined the caucus.

 Providence Police pulled a man's body out of the Providence River on Tuesday April 23 and, after several days waiting for the state medical examiner's office to complete its investigation, have confirmed that it is missing Brown University student Sunil Tripathi. A forensic dental examination confirmed the positive identification. According to police, no signs of trauma were initially found and the cause of death will not be determined until further investigation can be completed.

 Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts Aloke Chakravarty, of the U.S. Attorneys’ Office Anti-Terrorism and National Security Unit, will prosecuted the case against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who has been charged by the U.S. Justice Department with killing people with a weapon of mass destruction, and faces life in prison or the death penalty. Chakravarty will be joined in the prosecution by Assistant U.S. Attorney William Weinreb. |

 New footage from a surveillance camera has revealed critical clues which have fortified the search for Sunil Tripathy, a 22-year old Brown University student who has been missing since March 16. The footage appears to capture Tripathy on a street near his Providence, R.I., apartment just after his reported disappearance, according to authorities working on the case, which includes the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Providence Police.
