TD Bank has appointed Nandita Bakhshi to executive vice president and head of retail distribution and products. Based in Cherry Hill, N.J., Bakhshi is responsible for ensuring TD Bank stores and distribution channels deliver legendary service and competitive products to meet its customer needs, the company said.

“Nandita is a proven leader known for her ability to deliver results while focusing on the needs of the customer,” said Bharat Masrani, president and CEO of TD Bank. “She brings a tremendous amount of experience in products and services and will play a key role in ensuring we can continue to deliver one bank to our customers.”

Bakhshi, who joined TD in 2009 as head of products, has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.  Prior to joining TD, Nandita was executive vice president of consumer deposits and payments at Washington Mutual now JP Morgan Chase.

Bakhshi has a master’s degree in international relations from Jadavpur University in India.
