New Delhi– Telecom tower firm Bharti Infratel on Monday reported close to 31 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 773.80 crore for the quarter ended September 30 compared with Rs 591.60 crore for the same period a year ago.

The company’s income from operations grew nine per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,496.30 crore during the second quarter of this fiscal from Rs 1,372.60 crore in the same period last fiscal, according to a BSE filing.

The company, in a release, said its consolidated revenues for the quarter stood at Rs 3,292 crore, which grew by 8 per cent over the corresponding period last year.

Consolidated Ebitda improved to Rs 1,454 crore, up 10 per cent Y-o-Y, representing an operating margin of 44.2 per cent.

The company’s scrip closed at Rs 369.85 a piece, up 2.03 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange from the previous close.
