Chandigarh– Mohali-based TAC Security, a cyber-security company, has bagged the ‘Startup of the Year award’ at the 14th Annual 2018 Info Security PG’s Global Excellence Awards in San Francisco, a company official said here on Friday.

TAC Security was named winner of the 2018 Global Excellence Awards in ‘Startup of The Year’ category by Info Security Products Guide, the industry’s leading information security research and advisory guide.

The security industry celebrated its 14th Annual 2018 Global Excellence Awards in San Francisco by awarding excellence in every facet of the industry including products, people behind the successes and best companies, the spokesman said.

“Info Security Products Guide’s recognition will further validate our services as excellence-in-class and ahead of the curve,” TAC Security founder and CEO Trishneet Arora, 25, said here.

“This industry honour is the greatest endorsement to the fact that our services are ahead of the curve when it comes to the best-of-the-best services that can provide the highest security,” he added.

More than 40 judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world participated and chose the winners.

Recently, Trishneet Arora had made his way to the prestigious Forbes ’30 under 30 Asia’ 2018 list (Enterprise Technology category).

A school dropout from Chandigarh, Arora is now a cyber security expert. The prestigious Forbes list is packed with innovators and disruptors.

TAC Security performs vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for corporates, identifying weaknesses in their cyber security.

It helps corporates recognise their weaknesses before fraudulent hackers can use them adversely.

It helps to protect networks and information assets from malicious activity such as cyber attacks. TAC is also responsible for security assessment for 50+ UPI based applications.
