Thiruvananthapuram– The High Power IT Committee of Kerala (HPIC) will hold three networking sessions, titled #Future Global Connect, in the US early next month as part of a multi-pronged strategy, involving the state government and the Kerala diaspora in the technology sector to position the state as a digital destination of choice.
The three sessions of the series will be held in Boston, Seattle and San Francisco on August 6, 7 and 8, respectively.
HPIC members S.D. Shibulal, Kris Gopalakrishnan (both founders of Infosys), V.K. Mathews, head of IBS Software, besides IT administrators of the Kerala government will form the delegation.
The visit is to activate a “Kerala Conversation” in technology circles, engaging with those who can contribute to the digital cause of the state, building interest and generating leads for potential investments and expanding and widening the Digital Achievers Network (DAN).
According to the IT Department, the meet will see participation by widely networked global professionals, mostly of Indian and Kerala origin, who are potential investors and influencers with linkages to investors including senior executives from small and large companies, achievers in the knowledge industry and academicians.
