Chennai— After pilots and cabin crew, aircraft maintenance technicians of IndiGo Airlines at some hubs took mass leave, dissatisfied with their pay hikes.
According to reports, the aircraft maintenance technicians of IndiGo Airlines at Delhi and Hyderabad had taken leave on July 8 night.
IndiGo Airlines spokesperson was not reachable for comments.
According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, IndiGo Airlines on time performance on July 9 was 75.2 per cent.
Some pilots had taken leave in April and cabin crew earlier this month, affecting operations.
Union Minister Kapil Moriswa Patil was stranded on Saturday evening as IndiGo Airlines flight from Madurai to Chennai was late. He was later flown on an IndiGo Airlines flight to Mumbai. (IANS)
