New Delhi–Samsung has opened pre-orders in India for its latest foldable smartphone lineup, including the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8.
The new devices place a stronger emphasis on artificial intelligence, productivity and thinner designs. Built on seven generations of Samsung’s foldable technology, the Galaxy Z series is powered by Galaxy AI with Gemini Intelligence.
Samsung said the AI features allow users to complete tasks across multiple apps with fewer steps while providing additional privacy and security controls.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, the premium model in the lineup, is priced at Rs 1,99,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. The 12GB and 512GB model costs Rs 2,19,999, while the 16GB and 1TB version is priced at Rs 2,59,999.
The device will be offered in Graphite, Cream and Violet Shadow, with Green Shadow available exclusively through online channels.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 starts at Rs 1,79,999 for the 12GB and 256GB version. The 12GB and 512GB model is priced at Rs 1,99,999, while the 16GB and 1TB variant costs Rs 2,39,999.
It will be available in Graphite, Cream and Lavender, along with an online-exclusive Pistachio color option.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy Z Flip8 at Rs 1,24,999 for the 12GB and 256GB model and Rs 1,44,999 for the 12GB and 512GB version.
The Flip8 will be sold in Graphite, Cream and Pink, while Mint will be available exclusively online.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 has been designed to provide a large-screen viewing experience in a lighter body. At 201 grams, Samsung said it is the company’s lightest Galaxy Z Fold smartphone to date.
The device is equipped with a 4,800mAh battery and a Flex Titanium display structure intended to reduce the visibility of the screen crease. It also offers peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
Samsung has equipped the Fold8 with a dual 50-megapixel camera system featuring tools such as Dual Recording and My FanCam. (Source: IANS)
