New Delhi — Microsoft reported fourth-quarter revenue of $90 billion, up 18% from a year earlier, as strong demand for cloud computing and artificial intelligence services lifted its fiscal 2026 results.
Operating income increased 18% to $40.6 billion during the quarter, while net income rose 31% on a GAAP basis to $35.8 billion. Diluted earnings per share climbed 32% to $4.81.
On an adjusted basis, net income increased 22% to $35.3 billion, and diluted earnings per share rose 23% to $4.74.
Microsoft Cloud revenue grew 27% to $59.3 billion. Revenue from the Intelligent Cloud segment increased 32% to $39.3 billion, driven by a 43% rise in Azure and other cloud services revenue.
“We are advancing the frontier on the cost-to-outcome curve, ensuring every customer can turn tokens into business results,” Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella said.
“This year, Azure revenue surpassed $100 billion for the first time, and Microsoft 365 Copilot reached over 30 million paid seats, reflecting the confidence customers are placing in us to power their AI transformation,” Nadella added.
For the full fiscal year ended June 30, Microsoft reported revenue of $331.8 billion, an increase of 18%.
Annual operating income rose 21% to $155.2 billion, while net income increased 31% to $133.7 billion. Diluted earnings per share climbed 32% to $17.95.
