AHMEDABAD– Adani Enterprises Limited, the flagship company of the Adani Group, reported a 74% increase in consolidated revenue to Rs 38,023 crore for the second quarter of fiscal 2027, driven by expansion across its energy, infrastructure and emerging businesses.
The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 62% year-over-year to Rs 6,316 crore during the July-September quarter, according to a regulatory filing.
Profit before tax from continuing operations increased 146% to Rs 2,002 crore, reflecting stronger contributions from the company’s expanding business portfolio.
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani attributed the earnings growth to investments made over several years that are now contributing to the company’s operational expansion.
“We live in an age of such intense disruption that the scale of our ambitions must continuously grow. What Adani Enterprises has become very effective at is turning increasingly large and complex commitments into execution at scale across our businesses,” Gautam Adani stated.
“Our investments in integrated energy, airports and AI ecosystems are recent examples. Perhaps, the strongest validation of our execution capabilities is the trust domestic and global investors continue to place in us, choosing to partner with us even amid extreme volatility,” the Adani Group Chairman noted.
For the first six months of fiscal 2027, Adani Enterprises reported consolidated revenue of Rs 71,569 crore, an increase of 62% from the corresponding period a year earlier. EBITDA climbed 56% to Rs 11,958 crore, while profit before tax from continuing operations rose 45% to Rs 3,297 crore.
The company’s copper business emerged as a significant contributor to earnings during the first half, generating EBITDA of Rs 2,033 crore. Sales volumes at its copper plant increased 5.2 times compared with the same period last year as production continued to expand.
Adani Enterprises also reported progress in its renewable energy manufacturing and digital infrastructure operations.
Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) increased its solar module manufacturing capacity to 10 gigawatts following the commissioning of a 4.3-gigawatt TOPCon module production line in September 2026.
In its digital infrastructure business, AdaniConnex secured a new 240-megawatt hyperscale order for its Navi Mumbai data center, marking another expansion of the company’s presence in the growing data infrastructure sector.
The company’s credit profile also improved during the quarter. CARE Ratings upgraded Adani Enterprises’ long-term credit rating to AA with a stable outlook, representing the highest rating the company has received.
The quarterly performance reflects growing contributions from Adani Enterprises’ investments in copper production, renewable energy manufacturing and digital infrastructure as the company continues to expand its operations across multiple sectors. (Source: IANS)
