Mumbai–Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, inviting investors to his state, said on Saturday that a conducive environment for investment is awaiting industrialists and his government was ready to roll the red carpet for them.
Speaking in ‘Make in India’ programme in Mumbai, he said: “Come invest in Jharkhand. Jharkhand is a mineral rich state. We welcome you with a conducive environment. Invest in Jharkhand and this will give a new direction to the development process.”
At the event, Das welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a bouquet of flowers and a shawl. Later Modi also visited the Jharkhand Pavilion and lauded the developmental works being done by the state government.
Das and his Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar interacted with top businessmen including Mukesh Ambani and Kumar Mangalam Birla alongwith others. During the interactions, Das gave a picture of the state and elaborated about the areas of investment and also discussed in detail the possibilities of investment.
He will have a direct talk with the investors on Wednesday.
