Kolkata–City based TE-A-ME Teas on Thursday said it delivered a four years’ supply of green tea to US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, requesting him to drink the beverage to become “less extreme” as it is never too late to “cleanse” himself.
“The special delivery went from the company all the way to Trump Tower, New York. New Yorkers witnessed the delivery…..” ,the company said in a statement.
“The message is simple:AMr. Trump, it’s never too late to cleanse yourself,” it said.
“We believe that green tea with all its goodness can help Trump, and in turn benefit his country and the world at large. We therefore prescribe at least three cups a day for Trump. If he needs more, we’ll be happy to provide!” said company’s managing director Sumit Shah.
The consignment contained 6,000 bags of Assam green tea.
