Thiruvananthapuram– Kerala’s biggest IT employer – UST Global – will set up a Rs 400 crore campus in Madhya Pradesh, for which the MoU has been inked between the Madhya Pradesh government and the company.
California headquartered UST Global is a digital technology services company that provides next generation digital solutions for Global 1000 companies and employs 4,500 IT professionals in Kerala with 3,000 of them working from the Technopark campus here and the rest at Kochi Infopark campus.
A UST press release issued on Tuesday said the MoU was signed at a road show organised by the Madhya Pradesh government in New York on September 30 between Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Alexander Varghese, Chief Administrative Officer, UST Global.
Sajan Pillai, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), UST Global and Dan Gupta, Chairman Emeritus, UST Global were also present at the event.
Chouhan said this is a very welcome MoU for them.
“We thank UST Global for its commitment to generating employment. We are happy to be working with them. UST Global has shown interest in starting a Startup Village in their proposed campus,” said Chouhan.
“In a recent project with us, UST Global helped us successfully conduct the largest ever online exam at a state level in India that covered approximately ten lakh candidates, across 14 cities and 90 colleges. The use of the right technology ensured security and transparency like never before,” he said.
Gupta thanked Chouhan for providing the opportunity.
