Bengaluru– The three-day Internet of Things (IoT) India Congress 2016 kicked off in Bengaluru on Wednesday that aims to bring together key stakeholders across the value chain and verticals to collaborate, ideate and share a common road-map for IoT implementation.
The event, inaugurated by Information Technology (IT) and Electronics Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and JS Deepak, Secretary, Ministry of Telecommunications, will bring the IoT practitioners (hardware-devices, portables, sensors, software, business) and IoT enablers (regulatory, training, investors in IoT, end users) to work together and create a platform that is industry efficient as well as robust.
The event will also host the “IoT Thought Leadership Awards 2016” and the “IoT Start-Up Awards 2016”.
“IoT as a disruptive technology is leading the next wave of transformational change,” said Rishi Bhatnagar, Chairman, IoT India Congress Organising Committee.
